Turfworld is a family-owned business established in 2004 by Rob and James Winwood. With over 40 years of expertise in turf machinery through our sister company, which supplies equipment worldwide, we’ve built a deep understanding of what it takes to produce premium-quality turf.
Our ongoing investment in new land, machinery, and personnel has helped Turfworld become one of the UK’s leading suppliers of turf and topsoil.
We take immense pride in delivering turf of the highest quality, backed by a fast and reliable delivery service that covers the entire UK. At Turfworld, our unmatched customer service is our continued priority. Rob’s and James’ hands-on approach ensures that every step, from land cultivation to the delivery of your turf, is handled seamlessly.
In 2025, that same commitment to quality and reliability inspired the launch of TW Fuels, a dedicated division focused on delivering AdBlue across the UK with the same trusted service our customers have come to expect.
We were established in 2004, though our expertise in turf growing dates back many years before that.
Our son James joined the family business in 2014 and has since advanced to farm manager. His modern approach has played a key role in driving the business forward.
GPS positioning was introduced to all tractors in 2017, significantly enhancing the speed, accuracy, and quality of turf production.
An additional 80 acres of land has been negotiated for 2020 close to our farm to be sure we have the quantity to fulfil orders promptly.
